Having spent several h̶o̶u̶r̶s̶ days researching robot vacs, I took a punt with this one. Have to say, I wasn't expecting too much and thought it might be a half decent gimmick.Well, fortunately, it's actually brilliant. A real game changer.The build quality of the vac and the dock are excellent, and the setup and app are all well thought out too.It does a really good job of mopping and vacuuming, and is incredibly persistent; if it can fit in a gap/under something, it will clean it.Pros:- Quick and easy to setup- Looks super sleek in white- Amazing mapping- Does a thorough job; gets under things and into every corner- Surprisingly good at vacuuming- Does a good job mopping wooden and tile floor- Enough battery life to cover 1,200 sqft in one go- Quiet-ish when in use. Quieter than a Dyson V11 for exampleCons:- Obstacle avoidance not the best. This thing has major beef with a free standing lamp of ours- Struggles to map a different part of the room that you step down/up into- Mopping with just water doesn't give the best results. Had to add floor cleaner- Sometimes misses obvious bits of dirt that it's swept away- Takes ages to dry the mop pads- Mopping not great on tougher stainsWould suggest giving the floors and carpets and good clean before using the Roborock. It works well to maintain a good level of cleanliness. It's not a full replacement for a handheld vac + steam mop, but it's a very, very good alternative to having to vac and mop daily.

What can I say, I really love it!Is a game changer, it vacuums and mops really well! It picks up all the dirt, the pet hair, that used to be everywhere, and because I haven't received the cleaning solution to use yet, I am only using it with water... still, does a great job! There were muddy prints everywhere in the entrance and living room, and it cleaned everything!I set it to vacuum every morning after our breakfast, and every second morning I set it to vacuum and mop. The house stays super clean!When I set it to vacuum and mop, it does it simultaneously, and I was a little concerned, because both, cat and dog have long hair, but it picks up all the hair of the pets without issues.The app is very easy to use. It mapped the entire ground floor in less than 20mins, and it made a pretty accurate map, dividing the rooms.You can then easily select which room/s you want to have cleaned just by tapping on.Is very quiet when at work, you only hear of it when it empties itself. It does a very slight noise while drying the mops, but still not excessive or disturbing.Only minor issue is, when vacuums and mops in the kitchen, because my son drops a few cornflakes, it may happen that with the side brushes, may push out of its reach one or two cornflakes... I can put up with that, saves me something like 1 hour every day, I can make the effort and throw away a couple of corn flakes.The other thing that disappointed my little one, is that you cannot give it a name in the App, like you can do with other brands... but he quickly recovered when I told him that it doesn't matter, he can name it anyways! Now in our household, lives with us also R2D2... 😆Bottom line is, thst if for any reason, anything happens to R2D2, or stops working, I will be heartbroken!

I was somewhat skeptical about this as I owned one before and it wasn't all that good - constantly hitting obstacles around the house, low suction and it wasn't entirely hands-off as I still had to empty it out.Roborock perfectly solved all those problems. Its quite smart with its movement - I assume being equiped with LiDAR helps a lot with detecting obstacles, it even knows to vacuum around arm chair legs, standing fan legs, and corners. The suction is really good too, I haven't tried at Max suction because I feel its just unnecessary for my wooden floors, but even with medium suction it picks up everything. Couldn't recommend it more!Also, the set up was pretty straight forward.
