Worked great! I bought a car as is from a tow lot and the previous owners were not so clean, so this helped me with the smell very efficiently. Although it did have a slight chemical scent but that’s expected. It took less than an hour and lasted about a month. Did its job along with cleaning.

My daughters car... It hurts my feelings how terrible it can get in such a short period of time. Softball and volleyball clothes get REAL funky in a hurry, especially in such a confined space. This car freshener from Meguiar's was quick and easy to use. After we took EVERYTHING out of the car and vacuumed the seats and carpet, we turned on the air, popped the top on the can to start spraying, and shut the door. Not sure of the spray quality, the duration, or how long it took to dissipate as we left it for about an hour. Does not call for that long, but I forgot about it. The results were much, MUCH better than I expected. Whole car smelled fresh for a long time. Rode with her a month later and it did not smell like someone had left sour milk in a fish tank for too long, which is a great start.

This stuff is awesome. I always keep some here. I get the fragrance bombs, I get them from Amazon. It stays in the room for a few days.I have a guestroom that get stale smelling so when guests are coming I set one off.After a day of fishing, my son put the bucket in the bed of my truck w a camper like top so it smells fishy after. I got this because my significant other smoked in my car and got it all smelly. The instructions were a little bit confusing but I figured it out. The quality of it is fantastic. The spray is strong and effective at getting rid of nearly EVERY smell in the car. It has a very fresh, slightly chemical smell to it in lower quantities. The can itself was blue and much small than I thought it would be. Just make sure you follow the instructions exactly and give it extra time to air out. The fresh scent was very overwhelming at one point but if you drive with the windows down for a few days, it'll mostly clear out while leaving the car delightfully odor-free. Overall, 4/5 only because of the potency of the fresh scent.

My wife had been using my vehicle for awhile, as her car needed to be registered and in that time, the perfumes she wears wreaked to say the least. So I didn't buy this product for harsh cigarette odors, or animal smells, but just to kill the floral smell that was so bad. I followed the instructions, and it worked perfectly, as the floral odor is gone, and is replaced with the faint smell of the "New Car" odor now. When it first finished and you air your car out, it is way strong, so I did this step for a few days. But after that, it has been perfectly fine, I would for sure buy this again, as in my case, it has worked really well.

Works great, to kill off smells in car. Problem for me is that I don't like the scent. In no way does it smell like a new car, almost like a blend of old man cigar smoking left over and some cheap cologne. I'm not kidding. I put this in my used car just purchased to get rid of a nasty smell. Turns out, it was this same smell! Seems the dealer must use this same one. not at all like new car smell of today's new cars or new cars from yesteryear.

I really enjoy using this air freshener. It's simple to set up, smells great, and actually makes the car feel fresh again. The new car scent usually lasts a few weeks, sometimes close to a month. I’ve had water get into the car before, which leaves a pretty bad smell, but this clears it up fast. One thing I really like is how it runs through the whole air system when you use the recirculate setting, even getting into the cabin air filter. It’s a quick fix that does the job, and I often get compliments about how good my car smells afterward.

The fogger seemed to work ok but no new car smell sent as I thought it had. Also, it got it rid of the smoke smell for roughly 3 days, now it's back but I will say, not as strong. So, thinking I either need an industrial strength fogger or, perhaps hit it with this 4-5 more times. Not a bad fogger, just didn't eliminate the smoke smell. I gave it 4 stars for effort.
