Dahua Technology Dahua Pfb203W Dome Camera Mount

After considering several options to mount a Reolink turret style camera on a brick wall, I found what I was looking for.This mount is well constructed, compact, and a superior design that importantly, allows the POE cable bundle and paraphernalia to be tucked out of sight and harms way. It's priced attractively and does the job well.I'm pleased as the alternatives are pretty bulky and simply don't look right on a residential property.As pointed out by others, the holes aren't set up for the Reolink. However, as the construction is aluminium and I have a neighbour with a die set, it didn’t pose too much of a problem to accommodate the camera.

I bought one of these and a similar camera mount made of plastic to see which would be the better mount to hold an Annke C800VC dome camera. I initially thought that this mount was also plastic but was very pleasantly surprised when it arrived and was made of very thick aluminium.The mounting bracket is a good design, with a plate which you mount to the wall and secure with 4 screws and rawl plugs (supplied). The plate has 2 bent tabs at the top which hang the main body of the mount and the main body is locked to the mounting plate with a recessed grub screw tightened with an Allen key (also supplied). This mounting setup not only protects the mounting hardware from the elements and helps prevent water ingress and rusting, but also is the best type mounting mechanism because it enables you to fit the plate level to the wall and then hook on the main body with the camera already attached, so you can do all this one handed keeping one hand and both feet (3 points of contact) on the ladder.I should point out that the screw hole locations don't line up with the Annke C800VC dome mounting holes so I did drill and tap 3 new holes in the mount to fit this particular camera to it, but it's thick aluminium, took the threads well and there was no pull out so the dome fitted very securely to it. 3 machine screws (which look to be M4s) are also supplied.The mount itself is very low profile and has plenty of internal space to feed cables from the camera through the main body and hole in the mounting plate. The camera I fitted has a big moulded plug with a Y split and power cable and this whole assembly fitted easily through the mount and mounting plate and into the wall it was fitted to.By contrast, the other mount I bought to compare was made of very thin plastic (you can see the internal webbing through the top of it) and had exposed mounting screw holes which cause them to rust over time (unless you silicone the heads), so I'll likely be returning that and buying more of these instead.

Excellent product, very well made and sturdy.The aluminium cast is quality with quality powder coat finish. The cavity within the bracket is sufficient to store the balum and cables and looks very clean when installed. Highly recommended, i was so impressed with it that i brought another.Really easy to install too, you fit the bracket to the mounting area and then the housing fits to the bracket and is secured with a grub screw.

Like all thing dahua the quality is excellent.Well worth the money, bargain at this price.

Used this for an Annke camera which required me to drill and tap some extra holes, looks great.
