Great grinder, takes a little long, but is worth it
I do really like this espresso bean grinder. It’s super easy because I can use it handheld, the only reason I would say that it’s not perfect is because it takes a lot of handiwork to get those beans grind. I do take time to measure out my beans in the perfect weight and then add them to the top of the grinder. And when I’m grinding, it takes me about five minutes to really get them fine, and I put it on the number one setting, which is the finest for espresso. personally, I have not used the other four grind settings because I’m only looking to grind my beans for espresso. But I would assume they work pretty good. It really gives me a workout in the morning when I have to grind my beans for 5 to 10 minutes. Overall, the grinder works as intended, and it looks sleek in my espresso, coffee set up. And it is super easy to use and can be used right out of the box.

Good bang for the buck coffee grinder
I’ve been using this for about a month. This is my first experience with a manual grinder. My go to grinder is a Krup grinder. I wanted a backup grinder in case the machine grinder goes out.I use about three small scoop of beans for my drip coffee and this almost exactly fills this manual grinder to the top. It’s probably three and a half max scoop of beans. So this amount works well for me. In terms of grinding operation it’s been smooth so far. Takes close to a minute to manually grind the beans. Testing the variety size of grounds, the dial selection seems to work well from coarse to super fine grounds. The description says the grinding gears are made from ceramic material. I can’t tell whether it’s ceramic or cheaper plastic but I will take their word for it.Couple of things that could improve this product is the ability for the handle to fold down for easier storage. The second thing is the dial to adjust the size of the ground could be firmer or have a locking mechanism. I find that there was a few times that i accidentally changed the dial when grinding the beans.Overall it is a good product for the price. Some of these manual grinders can run in the hundreds of dollars. Go “bang for the buck.” Recommended as of the writing of this review. I will update this review if I run into any issues.

Easy to use, works incredibly well. I love it!
This just arrived today and I love it!This works really well and it's nice and simple.I tried a couple of the different grit settings and they were both very consistent and made some lovely ground coffee. The process of using it is very simple. Just set it to the desired grit, take off the grinder arm, pour in some beans and then put the arm back and grind away. I think the only downsides that I can think of are that the grinding chamber is relatively open to the elements. Being out by farm land on a gravel road, it's VERY dusty here. So, having things that remain open when not in use are not ideal. The arm also slides on with very little friction which makes it easy to remove and replace but it also makes it fall off if you tip the grinder without holing it in place. So, overall I think it is a fantastic portable grinder. I recommend it. Especially since it's very inexpensive in terms of special coffee equipment goes.

A good Coffee Grinder for occasional home coffee grinding.
This coffee grinder is fantastic. It works very simply, via leverage, it has a no frills top gear that attaches via a square peg, and you can grind coffee to 5 different selectable levels. It grinds well, is very small and gets you coffee ground the right way. Perfect for "French Press" or other types of setups. The only downside is the handle (turner) isn't integrated well so might get lost. But it has solid, professional action and as a result I can forgive this small downside. It has moving parts that will wear out and will eventually need replacement but I feel it should have an adequate kitchen life depending on how frequently it's used.

Cheap backup
This little coffee grinder is inexpensive at about $10. It does not come with good directions. I wasn't sure what the numbers indicated for grind coarseness. I referred back to the Amazon page for the item and the pictures didn't match up with the text description. The pictures show the opposite of what the text describes. So, through a trial run, I discovered that 5 is course and 1 is fine ground. While using the grinder, I also discovered that you have to hold it high up near the handle. At first I held it more comfortably near the bottom part. When holding it at the bottom the setting for the coarseness will change as you turn the handle because the upper part of the grinder will turn also. So, hold the top part of the device as you crank the handle. It is small and only grinds enough coffee for 1-2 cups. Everything seems to be made of plastic. I do not think this grinder would hold up well for everyday use. It's a good backup if you need something cheap to use in a pinch.

Excellent value, decent usability
It’s hard to not like this coffee grinder at the $10 price point. You set the coarseness (1=fine, 5=coarse) load a small amount of beans into the top, attach the crank arm, and grind away. The ground coffee is enough for one cup in our Aeropress. The coarseness setting worked pretty well, although it didn’t fully grind all of the beans at the finest setting. I also didn’t like that the crank arm just sits on the top axel. It would have been much better to have some way to snap it into place. I consider this an average grinder (3 stars) at an excellent price (5 stars), so overall 4 stars (above average)

Perfect for Camping
I bought this to pack out while camping and it was perfect. I'm the only one in my family who drinks coffee and this is the perfect size for personal use. I stored the beans in the bottom compartment so they wouldn't be loose in transit. Poured them into the grinder in the morning, probably spent about 60 seconds griding the beans, and had my grounds seamlessly. I haven't played with the 5 different coarse levels, but was very satisfied by the ease of use and functionality of this tool!
