Best speakers out there!
First off, let me say that, I am a very very picky person when it comes to sound quality and music. I want it to sound a certain way! I like everything to be well-balanced, but I also like a lot of bass! These are exactly what I always look for in sound quality. The speakers have it! I got my first set of logitech speakers in 2004, and have been buying them ever since. These ones are getting harder to find. The first time I bought them, was for a computer back in 2004, then I got them with my second computer when it was built a few years ago, and just decided to get one for the basement for when I do workouts! I can’t tell you how wonderful these speakers are! Let’s just say, you don’t want to turn the subwoofer up too much, it will rattle your windows! They are that good! I have pictures on my wall, and they all rattle if I put the subwoofer up too high. They are amazing in the basement and doing workouts. I hooked them up and they were perfectly! I’m so happy to have a second pair now. I have bought other speakers, including some other Logitech speakers, but they weren’t quite as good as these. I’m so glad I found some more. I almost thought about getting an extra pair, just in case down the road I need them. They are that good you just want to find more of them. These things are amazing, the sound is well balanced, the base is astronomically. Amazing, they are just really awesome! The price wasn’t bad either. I had a friend told me when he built my computer, you’re gonna be hard-pressed to find a set for 100 bucks. Well, I finally did. Glad I got these. The shipping was great, Speakers were packed nicely, no damages or anything. I’m impressed! All I can say is get these, you won’t be sorry! By the way, these are very easy to set up, I am a blind person, and had no problems.

Perfect condition!
I bought these speakers as renewed. I made my purchase with the intention of having it in my garage to be hooked to a TV with a Chromecast. I received it in a box that had seen better days, but was none the less intact. My unit appears to have been opened and then returned without ever being taken out of the box. It came with all of the original contents that it would have as new. The speakers still had all of the original plastic from the factory on them. I'm very pleased with what I received and would gladly purchase again if the need arises.

Sonic greatness
First things first, let me assure you that the bass on these speakers is so potent, it makes earthquakes seem like gentle vibrations. My house has turned into a full-blown seismic party zone, and I'm not complaining. The affordability of these bad boys is almost criminal. It's like getting a Lamborghini for the price of a tricycle, but with more thumping and less vroom-vroom. I'm convinced the pricing department had a few too many energy drinks when they set this one.But here's the twist: these speakers come with a built-in neighbor annoyance feature. Crank them up to full power, and suddenly your house becomes the epicenter of musical awesomeness and your neighbor's nightmare. They'll throw shade like it's a full-time job.So, if you're ready to live life on the edge of sonic greatness and neighborly disdain, these bass speakers are your golden ticket. Just remember, fame comes with its own set of earplugs. 🎶🔊

Original and exchanged unit didn't work
The 1st one I purchased look brand new. Hardly a scratch on it. Everything was wrapped nice in plastic. Box was all beat up. The subwoofer didn't power on. I tried it on 2 pc's. I exchanged it for a 2nd one. I don't know how this one passed as renewed. The power cord was loose and torn from the back of the unit. The grille on the subwoofer was bent and crushed. Both speakers had scratches and it was missing both the optical and audio cord. Unfortunately I sent both back. Logitech support didn't care and wouldn't exchange the 1st set or hardly help. I might buy a brand new set?!?!

Good Speakers, Gunky Condition
The speakers sound really good. To my surprise, these refurbished speakers were shipped with sticky gunk on the outside of the two smaller speakers. It looked like a previous owner had applied adhesive to attach the speakers to something, them detached and returned them with sticky adhesive still on the surface. It took about a half hour of scrubbing to get rid of most of it. It changed my feeling about buying refurbished items through Amazon: I thought there might be scratches or dings, but it never occurred to me that someone would ship speakers with sticky gunk on them. I think I'll avoid refurbished items in the future.

Sound great, easy to control
These are some really really great sounding speakers. The subwoofer is plenty hefty, and the R/L are not tiny nor tin-ey. They are digitally connected with the included optical cable, so they are as noise free as speakers can be in a computer environment. There is a slight hiss to these when turned very high, but this is how powered speakers work. I have a very high end Fishman amp and it does the same thing.Part of the hookup on these speakers I like, and part I don't. Once you attach the optical cable to the sub, you have a (I think) 15-pin connector permanently attached to the right speaker. The right speaker can now control power, volume, and bass. This is very convenient since the bass can get excessive at even the middle setting. The downside is that unless you find this weird cable type and buy an extension, you have to keep the right speaker within about 5ft from the sub, but this is normally still usable at this distance. Then the left speaker connects to the sub using a permanently attached RCA cable. It would have been nice to have all of these connections removable (my right speaker's strain relief came loose and I had to re-glue it) but at least on the left speaker an extension would be easy.Sound quality is very very nice, very clear, and the control over the bass makes these just about perfect. I don't know if they are worth their retail price but they are very much worth the ~$100 that these used ones are. You can also go quite loud with these, so keeping the speaker volume on 4 or 5 (out of 10) seems plenty for most uses, and at this setting there is no hiss.
