The Agrish Direct raised toilet seat was just what we needed for post-operative convenience. It was sturdy, adjustable, not difficult to assemble, and the padded seat turned out to be quite comfortable! I noted before buying that one review criticized the split seat design, saying that the seat cushions separated. This has not been our experience.

We needed this when my step mother came home from rehab. It fit perfectly over the toilet and worked great for her. She's short so we were able to adjust it to work for her. The quality is great and it makes going to the bathroom a lot more stable for her. She can get up from the seat on her own which is a huge plus. It's very easy to use and put together. The price was great and it's good quality. I would definitely recommend for anyone who has trouble getting on or off the toilet.

This was just what I needed after my total knee replacement. The seat is padded and easy to clean. The handles are sturdy to help me lift myself on and off the seat. I like that the width is adjustable so it’s easier to fit into different bathrooms. And I find it sturdy. I am plus size.

I bought this to use after a hip replacement. I liked the ease of assembly and fits easily over toilet. It has a 2 halved cushioned seat that snaps in place but do not like that the seat slides open & separates and can’t fix to remain tight together. So makes painful and can’t slide seats myself back together as can’t bend beyond 90° after use w/o help of others. I am 5”7 130 lbs. Maybe would be better for someone larger. Regret this purchase.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Easy to put together, pieces fit well. Works with the original seat still attached to the toilet (at least with the elongated bowl), and the original seat down. Seems very sturdy. Our loved one weighs about 165, and complains that the seat is uncomfortable.She had a pretty bad "accident" this morning. We helped her onto the seat, and she left a big mess. We tried a few different cleaners, but the seat was stained, is stained, will continue to be stained. It's clean. It just looks gross.UPDATE: The seller contacted me to see what they could do to help. They sent a replacement seat. Our patient (our loved-one) is not complaining so much about it being uncomfortable, either. I added a star for very good customer service.
