Amazing Results – Truly Works for Surgical Scars!
I was honestly skeptical at first, but this silicone scar tape exceeded my expectations. I used it consistently after my surgery, and it made a huge difference in the appearance of my scar. The tape is soft, flexible, and comfortable to wear all day — even under clothing. After just a few weeks, I started to notice the scar becoming flatter, smoother, and less red. Now, it’s barely noticeable! It stuck well without irritating my skin, and I love that the strips are reusable and easy to trim to size. If you’re dealing with a new or even older scar, I highly recommend giving this a try. Just be consistent — it really works! My incision is much longer than the strips so I switched to the tape.

The Seal of approval for Scar healing: Literally!
Alright, buckle up, because if you're even considering the Mitgary Advanced Scar Gel (which you absolutely SHOULD be!), then listen up about its perfect partner in crime: the NUVADERMIS Silicone Scar Tape!Seriously, this isn't just any tape; it's like a cozy, skin color protective blanket for your healing scar. I got the extra-long roll (because, let's be honest, you can never have too much of a good thing when it comes to scar care!), and the medical-grade silicone feels so gentle and comfortable against my skin. It's easy to cut to the perfect size, and it stays put without being irritating. That's a huge win in my book! But here's where the magic really happens: using this Nuvadermis tape over the Mitgary scar gel is a total game-changer. The gel gets to work its magic, and the tape creates this perfect occlusive environment, locking in the goodness and providing consistent, gentle pressure. It's like giving your scar a little spa treatment all day long without compromising on durability.Since I started using them together, I've noticed such a significant improvement in the texture and appearance of my c-section scar. The tape provides that extra layer of support and helps to keep the scar flat and protected from any potential irritation or pulling. Plus, knowing it's medical-grade gives me that extra peace of mind.If you're serious about minimizing the appearance of surgical scars – whether it's from a c-section, tummy tuck, or anything else – do yourself a favor and grab a roll (or two!) of the Nuvadermis Silicone Scar Tape. It's reusable, it's effective, and paired with the Mitgary Advanced Scar Gel, it's an absolute powerhouse for scar healing. Trust me on this one – your skin will thank you! This tape is a must-have in your scar care arsenal! ✨

A Little Boost for the Healing Journey đź’•
This scar tape has been a gentle, helpful addition to our post-surgery care routine. It’s soft, flexible, and easy to cut to the right length. We’ve been using it to help minimize the appearance of my knee replacement scar, and it looks like it's really worked!Feels comfortable on skinEasy to trim to sizeReusable if removed gentlyAdheres securely, even during light movement⚠️ Heads-up: we take it off before showering to help extend its life.Bottom line: It’s not a miracle fix, but it’s a kind, steady helper on the road to recovery.

Bandaid like coverage
Sticks well and seems to be helping. It covers like a bandaid, which is nice for newer incisions. It makes it easier to sleep on. The directions say reusable, but it doesn’t seem worth reusing to me. I always cut a new piece. Make sure you put it on clean, dry skin - it will adhere best that way

Miracle worker! Safe for sensitive skin!
What a life changing difference! I burned myself BAD with a curling iron on my face and was so afraid I would be left with a scar on my cheek forever. I used the tape for approximately 6-7 weeks after the blister had heeled and there was no longer an open wound. I cut the tape to the size of the burn every night and the tape stuck well even with my tossing and turning in my sleep. It never left any allergic reaction marks despite my intensely sensitive skin, and made a huge difference! Full disclosure, I did also use ample amounts of aquaphor to keep the spot well hydrated during the day the first two weeks and do use retinol products three times a week. But I truly think the results speak for themselves! Photo progress is from February 22 (when blister was at its worst) to May 3rd.

Definitely does not last 7 days
I had a cervical fusion in September, leaving a noticeable scar on my neck that I'm currently trying to fade. I've only been using this scar tape for one month, so I can't attest to its long term effectiveness for helping the scar fade yet. However, the adhesive on the tape definitely is not reusable for up to 7 days, as the box claims. Some of this mileage may vary depending on where your scar is located; with mine on the neck, obviously the skin moves a lot during the day & touches my pillow at night. That said, when putting on new tape the adhesive lasts me two, MAYBE three days at most if I don't take it off at all to shower, etc. On the 2nd day, all the edges are noticeably peeling and hanging off (and are no longer sticky), and they continue to peel so much on the 3rd day that I have to replace it. I haven't tried leaving the tape on longer than that due to the need for a shower. However, if I DO peel off the tape for a shower, the adhesive immediately does not go back on the same as before, instead hanging loosely. On shower days, I can get AT MOST two days of moderate usefulness. I'm still glad to have anything to cover my scar to help fade it more quickly and will continue using this for now, but I'm disappointed that I will go through the roll of tape much quicker than I expected. These 2 pictures were taken the evening of Day 2--no removal yet, but showing significant peeling.
