Massive sound, crystal clear highs, deep lows, and soaring mids. Just what I expect from Edifier.
I have a set of Edifier powered bookshelf speakers that are hooked up to my turntable, and I am very pleased with them. I am aware that Edifier are not exactly audiophile speakers, but for the money, they sound fantastic, and since they are powered, they are highly convenient. Needless to say, I have been very happy with my bookshelf speakers, and because of that, I have kept Edifier products in the back of my mind.My old PC soundbar started getting wicked interference any time I used it, which put a major damper on gaming and listening to music at my computer. Because I have had such good luck with my Edifier bookshelf speakers, I found these Edifier computer speakers, and decided to give them a shot. I am very happy I did.PROSThe overall feel of these speakers; the weight, the look, and the components, definitely makes these fell like you're getting higher end speakers. Compared to a lot of other PC speakers I've used in the past, these weight at least twice as much. The RGB lighting effects are cool, but also not over-the-top or overdone. There are thin strips on the rear/side of the speakers, and a strip on the back as well. I have had speakers that are loaded with RGB lights and look completely ridiculous. The subtle accent lighting on the Edifier speakers is much more preferred.Setup is as simple as can be for the most part. The package comes with an auxiliary cable and a USB cable so you have options for how you want the speakers connected to your source. The Bluetooth is also simple and easy to set up, even more so than on their bookshelf speakers. The sound is massive for speakers of their size. The bass is nice and low without needing a subwoofer, the mids are nice and full, and the highs are clear. I messed around with VLC's EQ for about 15 minutes or so until I had the perfect sound profile dialed in, but these speakers sound good even with flat EQ.CONSFor computer speakers, these are a bit on the large side. They still fit under my monitors, but if my monitors were any lower, there would be an issue. The lever-actuated volume control is a bit weird. It's not impossible to use, but I feel as though a volume knob would be a more efficient design. As it is, you can't just hold the lever to adjust the volume, you have to click it up or down every time to adjust the volume. I just keep it all the way up and adjust the volume output on my PC.Although setup is relatively easy, it would be nice if the joining speaker wire was detachable, like on their bookshelf speakers. I had to do some wonky shuffling around of stuff on my desk to place my speakers, and wasn't able to run the speaker wire in the cable trough.VERDICTThe cons listed are very minor, and in no way shape or form truly detract from the overall experience of using these speakers. They are great quality, they sound incredible, they can easily fill a room with their sound range, they look cool, and they don't break the bank by any stretch of the imagination. For anyone looking for a better sound experience for their computer, these should be near the top of your list. As always, Edifier has an excellent product on their hands!

OMG....sound quality far exceeds expectations
I am frankly blown away by the sound quality of speakers. At its price point I cannot imagine a better value. Straight out of the box, plugged it into my mac (ok minus 1 point for requiring a USB-A to USB-C adapter to plug it in), went to audio settings, clicked on G2000, and boom....ear drums ringing. I tested the volume by manually turning it up all the way on the speakers themselves and then more on the mac. Sitting in front of it, it was way too loud for me--and I'm an aging GenXer who is kinda deaf from standing in front of one too many speaker towers at rock concerts in my youth, and blasting my guitar amp at eleven. I played multiple songs in different genres--hip hop, metal, electronic, alternative....all while manually fiddling with the EQ of the music app just to test the range of the speakers. I am beyond impressed. Btw, adjusting the EQ *really* helps. The G2000 has its own quick and dirty EQ toggle between music, gaming, and movie mode, but I find that using more detailed EQ adjustments is more satisfying. The G2000 speakers handle the change in EQ incredibly well. Look, they aren't 6.1 surround Bose, KEFs, or Klipsch speakers and I wasn't expecting that. But they are exceptional computer speakers.

You will be hardly disappointed
I discovered Edifier products over 10 years ago, and since then, I’ve used them for a variety of purposes. They have never disappointed me. When you properly compare Edifier to other renowned audio brands, you’ll often find that you’re getting—if not the absolute best—something impressively close, especially when you factor in the price. It’s the kind of value that genuinely puts a smile on your face.I rarely write reviews, but I make an exception when a product truly deserves it — and the G2000 is one of those cases. It delivers excellent, clear, loud, and full-bodied sound with plenty of bass for a small and stylish set of 2.0 PC speakers. The multi-input options (3.5mm AUX, USB, and Bluetooth) are incredibly convenient. On top of that, it can run with external power for extra punch, and for those wanting even more bass, it offers a subwoofer output. While RGB lighting wasn’t important to me, I appreciate that it’s there — it’s tasteful and not over the top, making it a nice touch for gamers who care about that feature. I personally chose the classic black version to match my setup, but I think the white option is a fantastic (and arguably the prettiest) choice.Great job, Edifier — keep it up!

Nice Speakers!
These speakers work well and sound fabulous for their price point. I do not like the startup sound and there is no way to disable it. Once you get past that sound, you will love these speakers. Recommended!
